The message of Fatima! . . . Part 2

I see numbers; they are always God’s messages to me. The number 13 is everywhere I go. I understand the number 13 is my life (a promise by Jesus and Mama Mary). This is interesting though of what I found on 33 and 13.
Updated on my last topic, the three dates, but this with the above lines is an indication to what I now understand. Please read:

Day 3rd February, 2017 – First Friday and St. Blaise feast.
I reached Church a little late. But I reached before the blessings (Eucharistic Adoration). Thank God.
Just before the mass, I saw Theresa with a wooden box and on it was inscribed the no. 13

Day 6th March, 2017. Monday
I could see the numbers 33 and 13 on the Eucharist (the Body of Christ at Eucharistic Adoration) No matter how many times I closed my eyes and had them open the vision did not change. The numbers remained there.

Day 23rd May, 2017 - Eucharistic Adoration (St. Joseph’s Chapel) Other Priest                          I noticed the board displaying the hymn nos. I have attached the snap here below and I have circled the numbers in different shades as what I understand of the message.

***********Pope St. Leo XIII’s Vision***********************
Exactly 33 years (span of our Lord’s life) to the day prior to the great Miracle of the Sun in Fatima, that is, on October 13, 1884, Pope Leo XIII (again Roman numeral denotes 13, which means day 13 by a 13 therefore indicating 1313)(also 33 years and 13) had a remarkable vision. When the aged Pontiff had finished celebrating Mass in his private Vatican Chapel, attended by a few Cardinals and members of the Vatican staff, he suddenly stopped at the foot of the altar. He stood there for about 10 minutes, as if in a trance, his face ashen white. Then, going immediately from the Chapel to his office, he composed the prayer to St. Michael, with instructions it be said after all Low Masses everywhere. When asked what had happened, he explained that, as he was about to leave the foot of the altar, he suddenly heard voices – two voices, one kind and gentle, the other guttural and harsh. They seemed to come from near the tabernacle. As he listened, he heard the following conversation:

The guttural voice, the voice of Satan in his pride, boasted to Our Lord: “I can destroy your Church.”
The gentle voice of Our Lord: “You can? Then go ahead and do so.”
Satan: “To do so, I need more time and more power.”
Our Lord: “How much time? How much power?”
Satan: “75 to 100 years, and a greater power over those who will give themselves over to my service.”
Our Lord: “You have the time, you will have the power. Do with them what you will.”

The prayer to St. Michael (Pope Leo XIII)
Pope Leo XIII, introduced to the entire Church a special prayer to St. Michael:
Saint Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into Hell, Satan and all the other evil spirits, who prowl throughout the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Pope John Paul II in St. Peter’s Square, Sunday, April 24, 1994, urged Catholics to recite this prayer to Saint Michael once again:
"The prayer can fortify us for that spiritual battle about which the Letter to the Ephesians 6:10 speaks: "Finally, draw your strength from the Lord and from his mighty power."
"Even if today this prayer is no longer recited at the end of the Eucharistic celebration, I invite all to not forget it, but to recite it in order to obtain help in the battle against the forces of darkness and the spirit of this world."

After the Communion, Fr. Joe always makes it a point to lead the congregation to pray to St. Michael.

********33 Years Later  (Pope St. Leo XIII’s Vision)********
On Sunday May 13th, 1917, the children were pasturing their flock which was about a mile from their homes. They were playing when suddenly a bright shaft of light pierced the air. The lady spoke to them and said: “Fear not! I will not harm you.” “I am from heaven”. ”I came to ask you to come here for six consecutive months, on the thirteenth day, at this same hour. I will tell you later who I am and what I want.”

It was Mary’s final appearance, on Oct. 13, 1917 (exactly 33 years, to the day, after Pope Leo XIII’s vision). An estimated 70,000 people were in attendance. For four minutes, the noontime sun spun around giving off various colors. It would turn red, green and blue as the sun spun around. It stopped and started again for four more minutes, this time giving off even more beautiful colors. Then it detached itself from its regular position and began to zigzag in the sky. It "danced" for about four minutes, and then started to plummet to the earth. It looked like it was the end of the world. Many people fell on their knees to ask for mercy of God. The sun then returned to its original position in the sky. It was acknowledged by all that a great miracle had occurred.

In August 1931, Our Lord communicated to Sister Lucy His dissatisfaction with the Popes and the Catholic Bishops failure to obey His command to consecrate Russia. Lucy wrote that Our Lord complained to her: They (My ministers) did not wish to heed My request! Like the King of France they will repent of it, and they will do it, but it will be late. The Holy Father will have much to suffer.

The reference by Jesus to the King of France’s disobedience and punishment is as follows: On June 17, 1689 the Sacred Heart of Jesus manifested to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque His command to the King of France that the King was to consecrate France to the Sacred Heart.
The King of France was stripped of his legislative authority. In 1793 France sent it’s King, Louis XVI, to the guillotine. For 100 years he and his predecessors had failed to obey Our Lord’s request that France be consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and thus misfortune had befallen both the King and his country.

On June 29, 1972 Pope Paul VI confirmed and said, “the smoke of Satan has entered the temple of God.”
Our Lady of Akita, said, “The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, Bishops against Bishops…the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord.”

Pope Benedict XVI wrote, receiving the Eucharist means adoring Him whom we receive, we become one with Him. The act of adoration outside Mass intensifies all that takes place during the liturgical celebration itself.
In the Eucharist (Holy-Communion), the Son of God comes to meet us and desires to become one with us; Eucharistic adoration is simply the natural consequence of the Eucharistic celebration, which is itself the Church’s supreme act of adoration.

Jacinta told Lucia to proclaim to the whole world that, it is through the Immaculate Heart of Mary that God wishes to grant us His graces! It is from this Immaculate Heart that we must ask for them! The Heart of Jesus wishes the Immaculate Heart of Mary to be venerated with His own! It is through the Immaculate Heart of Mary that peace must be asked, because it is to that Heart that the Lord has confided it. How I love the Immaculate Heart of Mary!
To remind the three children and to inspire them to greater fervor for the future, Our Lady said: "Sacrifice yourself for sinners and say often, especially when you make some sacrifice, 'My Jesus, it is for the love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.'"
In each of the apparitions of Our Lady at Fatima, she insisted on praying the Rosary.  "Pray the Rosary every day to obtain peace for the world."

Our Lady asked them to add after each decade the short prayer:  "Oh my Jesus forgive us our sins; save us from the fires of Hell. Lead all souls to heaven especially those most in need of Thy mercy."

In the final apparition on October 13, 1917, Our Lady silently held out THE SCAPULAR:- (the brown scapular of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel). Lucia had said that the Blessed Mother wants everyone to wear it: "The Scapular and the Rosary are inseparable." Our Lady said:

  • Pray and make sacrifices for all souls because they have no one to pray and make sacrifices for them.
  • Our Lady insisted on flight from sin, practice the virtues of penance!
  • Sacrifice gives great pleasure to Our Divine Lord! Love holy poverty and silence.
  • Be very charitable even towards the wicked! Never speak evil of anyone and avoid those who do.
  • Be very patient because patience leads to heaven.
  • Pray much for sinners! Pray much for priests, for Religious, for Governments! Pray for everybody (all).
  • The sins of the world are too great!  The sins which lead most souls to Hell are sins of the flesh!
  • Certain fashions are going to be introduced which will offend Our Lord very much. Those who serve God should not follow these fashions. The Church has no fashions; Our Lord is always the same.
  • Many marriages are not good; they do not please Our Lord and are not of God...!
  • If they amend their lives Our Lord will still pardon the world; but if they do not, the chastisement will come!
  • Priests should occupy themselves only with the affairs of the Church!
  • If the government left the Church in peace and gave liberty to our holy religion, they would be blessed by God.
  • When Jacinta was at the orphanage in Lisbon, she spent every possible moment in the chapel kneeling with her eyes riveted on the tabernacle.  Seeing people in church being irreverent toward the Blessed Sacrament upset her greatly. She stated that Our Lady does not want us to talk in church. She said people should not talk about priests but they should rather pray for them.

The Message of Fatima consists of a number of predictions, warnings and promises conveyed by the Blessed Virgin Mary to three shepherd children - Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco - in a series of apparitions at Fatima, Portugal from May 13 to October 13, 1917.
At Fatima Our Lady said that God wished to establish in the world devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Our Lady said that many souls would be saved from Hell and the annihilation of nations averted if, in time, devotion to Her Immaculate Heart were established principally by these two means:
  • The Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary by the Pope together with the world's Bishops in a solemn public ceremony, and
  • The practice or receiving Holy Communion in reparation for the sins committed against the Blessed Virgin Mary, on the first Saturdays of five consecutive months.

THE MESSAGE OF FATIMA WARNS - It warns that if the requests of Our Lady of Fatima for the Consecration of Russia and the First Saturday devotion are not honoured, the Church will be persecuted, there will be other major wars, the Holy Father will have much to suffer and various nations will be annihilated. Most important, many souls will be lost.
The Message of Fatima is important because it involves the salvation of souls, peace in the world and, if the requests of Our Lady of Fatima are not carried out, the consequences are the annihilation of nations and the enslavement of all mankind under militant rule of Russia.
1 Thessalonians 5:20-21 states: "Despise not prophecies, but prove all things; hold fast to that which is good."

The Great Promise of the Five First Saturdays
Appearing with the Queen of Heaven in that apparition was the Infant Jesus, Our Lady then spoke: "Behold, my daughter, my Heart encircled with thorns, with which ungrateful men pierce It at every moment by their blasphemies and ingratitude. Give me consolation, you, at least; and make known on my behalf that I promise to assist at the hour of death, with the graces necessary for salvation, all who on the First Saturday of five consecutive months confess their sins, receive Holy Communion, recite five decades of the Rosary, and keep me company for fifteen minutes meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary, with the purpose of making reparation to my Immaculate Heart."

To Offend the Blessed Virgin Mary is to Offend God and Frustrate His Plans for the Salvation of Souls.

One may wonder, why did Our Lady request precisely five First Saturdays? The number could, be taken as a reminder of the five principal motives that we have for making reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. These motives are:
  • blasphemy against her Immaculate Conception;
  • blasphemy and heresies against her perpetual Virginity;
  • blasphemy and heresies against her Divine Maternity;
  • disrespect and irreverence to her shrines or images;
  • the crime of those who attempt to uproot from souls-particularly the souls of the young-their devotion to the Mother of God.
The reason is that it teaches us perseverance, without which our spiritual efforts will never bear the good fruit.

THE SCAPULAR:-
Consecrate ourselves to the Immaculate Heart of Mary through the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
“... two truths are evoked by the sign of the Scapular:
  • The constant protection of the Blessed Virgin, in life’s journey and also at the moment of passing into eternal glory;
  • The awareness that devotion to her must become a ‘habit’, woven of prayer and frequent reception of the sacraments and the concrete practice of the spiritual and corporal works of mercy.
In this way the Scapular translates the gift of His Mother, which Jesus gave on the Cross to John and, through him, to all of us, and the entrustment of the beloved Apostle and of us to Her, who became our spiritual Mother . . . The Scapular of Carmel! (as explained by Fr. Ashlyn) (with the word of Goodbye-on the 1st Saturday-March)

Thank You, Abba Father.
Thank You, Jesus.
Thank You, Holy Spirit.

Day 03rd June, 2017. - First Saturday.
After mass, Fr. Ashlyn anointed us while placing a scapular on each of our necks.

Fr. Ashlyn on the last day of our Bible study, gave each one of us the Picture of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I have never been able to resist that loving gaze ever. Here is a prayer attached.

A Helpful Guide to the First Five Saturday Devotion
Our Lady of Fatima has assured us that she will obtain the graces of salvation for all those who observe the First Saturdays for five consecutive months in accordance with her conditions. Simply make the resolution that all the spiritual exercises will be offered in reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The following points:
Confession: A confession may be made on the First Saturday itself, or eight days before or after the First Saturday.
The spirit of penance must compel us to walk in the path that leads to Mary’s Immaculate Heart. It is a call to submission to God's Holy Will. And it is this true devotion, based on heartfelt repentance and conversion that creates - the desire to lead others along the same path to the Heart of God.
Holy Communion: to receive Jesus in Holy Communion with the intention of making reparation. Thus, the first fruit of the practice of the Five First Saturdays is the devotion to the Most Holy Eucharist, in its threefold aspect of Sacrifice, Communion, and Adoration.
Rosary: To meditate on each mystery of the Rosary as we offer each decade. We should bear in mind that, while the complete Rosary is composed of twenty decades, five decades are, strictly speaking, sufficient to fulfill the requirement of this devotion.
15-minute meditation: Keep Our Lady Company for fifteen minutes while meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary. The meditation may be either on one Mystery or on all twenty mysteries, spending about one minute on each mystery.
The Spirit of Reparation: A true love of God overflows into a love of our neighbour, by endeavoring to save souls. When one cooperates with our Lady’s grace, one becomes attracted to her Immaculate Heart, and perseveres for the salvation of others.

Five Consecutive First Saturdays: We need to repent and return to God; "if the true consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary does not became a way of life for many then the future course of mankind appears bleak. The least of these evils will be the vast number of souls who depart from this world in the state of mortal sin, and are lost for all eternity in the flames of Hell.
The only means of preventing these tragedies is to respond to the gentle but urgent pleas of our loving Mother at Fatima. To those who practice the devotion of the First Saturdays in reparation, Our Lady promises her assistance at the hour of death "with the graces necessary for salvation" -- she does not promise them eternal salvation itself, but the heavenly graces necessary for salvation.

CONCLUSION: The loving promises made by the Hearts of Jesus and Mary are manifestations of their love for us, and thus serve to en-kindle love and gratitude in well-disposed souls.
In keeping with the promise that the Immaculate Heart of Mary made to them in her first apparition, the two younger shepherds of Fatima, Jacinta and Francisco, were assured that they would soon go to Heaven. This knowledge prompted them to pray and make sacrifices, for the sake of reparation. If we could but partake in a tiny bit of their zeal for penance, prayer, and sacrifice; we would assuredly be in the realms of Heaven, because the love of neighbour is the glory of Heaven. To want the good for our neighbour is to constantly be in the company of Angels!

Prayer:

My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love You! I ask pardon of You for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and do not love You! (3 times)
